Baltimore Museum of Art
How could we leave the BMA off the list? The galleries won't be open during our wedding (sorry!), so feel free to come back Sunday to explore the largest collection of Matisse's works held by a public institution, or visit Gertrude's for a nice meal in the tranquil sculpture garden.
The Food Market
Our favorite neighborhood restaurant! Grab a table or sit at the bar (our favorite) and bask in the glory of great New American food and refreshing cocktails.
The Charmery
This cute ice cream spot in our neighborhood is a Baltimore staple. Hannah's order: Mint Mountain. Matt's order: Maryland Mud
Nick's Fish House
Many an early date was spent at Nick's, for good reason! Great vibes and great fresh seafood. Reservations are not accepted and it can get quite busy, so arrive early.
The Brewer's Art
A Baltimore mainstay. Grab a seat upstairs for a dining room experience, or downstairs (our favorite) for more grunge. Either way, get the fries.
Ministry of Brewing
A converted church now serves up some of the best brews in the City! Grab a seat inside or outside and take a load off with good friends.
Checkerspot Brewing Company
Another excellent brewery. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here.
Union Craft Brewing
Another top tier local brewery with great snacking food and amazing indoor and outdoor spaces.
Topgolf
All the fun of the driving range, but with food and drinks brought to you. Fun for even non-golfers (Hannah can attest)!
George Peabody Library
Visit the inspiration for the ballroom in Beauty and the Beast and enjoy the smell of rare books.
Johns Hopkins Homewood
Take a stroll around our alma matter's gorgeous campus. Grab a coffee inside Gilman Hall or Brody Cafe and enjoy the views of Homewood in the Fall.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards
The O's are in town the week before our wedding and the Sunday after! We highly recommend grabbing some tickets. There are no bad seats at Camden Yards.
Druid Hill Park
Equally good for trail walks through the woods and picnics on the lawn! Check out the gorgeous Rawlings Conservancy (pictured).
Patterson Park
Enjoy the views of Downtown from Patterson Park or bring a bottle of wine and sip in the shadow of the iconic Pagoda. There are many great restaurants in walking distance when you're done in the park.
Baltimore Waterfront Promenade
The waterfront promenade wraps around (nearly) the entire City's waterfront and is a great, safe, flat(!!!) spot for a jog or walk. When we lived in Federal Hill, we frequently ran along the water here.
