Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will specifically state the number of people included in your party. Unless it states you and a guest, we would appreciate if it's just you attending.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, besides the flower girl and ring bearers this will be an adult only wedding. We hope you understand as we are dealing with a limited amount of capacity.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you decide to drive to the ceremony/reception there will be a large field with plenty of room for parking. Campers and RV's are welcome as well.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle bus picking guests up at the hotel at 1:15pm to take them to the ceremony, the shuttle bus will be leaving the reception at 11:00pm to drop guests off at the hotel.

What will the meal and bar service be like?

Answer

The meal will be buffet style, each table will be called to get their food in a certain order. There will also be a dessert table that will be help yourself. As for bar service, there will be an outdoor bar with two bartenders serving mixed drinks. Next to the outdoor bar will be a beer truck where you will be able to tap your own beer. There will also be a variety of canned beer available inside to minimize the line at the outdoor bar area.

What address do I use to get to the venue?

Answer

If you are using GPS to get you to the ceremony/reception venue please use 810 Bunting Street, Pottsville PA as the address. If you type Kemfort's Cottage in your GPS it will take you to 760 Bunting Street, which is the owner's house.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The parking lot is within a few minutes walking distance of the ceremony location. So, please aim to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes early so everyone can be seated before the ceremony starts. For those who are in need of assistance, there will be a side by side/golf cart available for transportation from the parking lot to the ceremony site.

What do I do if I want to camp at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of room on the property to set up tents, campers, or RV's. If you plan to do so, let us know ahead of time so we can get a count of how many people will be staying. If you want to come the day before (Friday, September 29th) to set up your tent or camper you are more than welcome to. As for campers and RV's, there are a few electrical hookups on site but you need to let us know in advance if you'll be needing one so we can get a count for that as well. Anyone is more than welcome to stay the night and camp on the property!
