A few years ago, Madison's parents, Mike and Charlene, became members at a gun club called The West Cameron Nimrods. This gun club happens to be located a few miles up the road from where Luke grew up. Mike and Charlene eventually met Luke here through a few family friends that knew him. Madison remembers her mom coming home one night saying she was going to hook her up with Luke Erdman, she just shook her head and said "Mom I don't even know who that is." One night during a snowstorm, Madison and her parents decided to venture to The Nimrods where they came across Luke, who was the only person in the bar at the time. That night, Luke and Madison talked for the first time, they even played a few games of pool, Luke even let her use his "special pool stick". They didn't talk after that night but, a few months later, they both attended a family friends birthday party. At this party, Luke approached Madison's brother, Mike, who he knew from their younger days playing little league against each other, and asked him "who is the hot blonde standing over there." Mike proceeded to punch him in the stomach and said "that's my f***ing sister asshole." I think Luke knew he had to proceed with caution after that lol. A few weeks later, Luke and Madison both attended an outdoor "Covid party" at The Nimrods, where they really started to hit it off. Madison ran out of drinks that night and had to ask Luke if she could drink a few of his busch light's (I think this is when he knew she was the one lol). That night when Madison got home, she worked up the nerve to text Luke (with the encouragement of her Mom) but she needed a good excuse to do so. She didn't have his number, so she had to get it from her Dad, who had his number because of them hunting together. So, she texted him and told him that they had forgotten their lawn chairs at The Nimrods and asked if he could drop them off at her parents house the next day. He showed up the next day with the chairs and had to face her dad at the front door by himself. After that day, the rest became history, they have talked every day since then.
