Charlottesville airport is just about 10 minutes north of downtown which makes this an easy Uber ride. Another option would be Richmond airport (RIC), which is about an hour and a half away from downtown Charlottesville, and seems to have more direct flights options.

Charlottesville is a convenient location for anything from small quirky cottages to large farm houses depending on the group you have. The only thing we recommend is staying within charlottesville or west of charlottesville since that is closer to the reception.
