What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Family (immediate & extended) arrive at 1:00pm Friends arrive at 2:00pm

What’s the parking situation?

Answer

1. Grafton: On the property just south of the barn. Look for signage. 2. Braise in Walker’s Point: Street parking on W Washington St., S 2nd St., S 3rd St., and W Scott St. 3. Sugar Maple in Bay View: Street parking on E Lincoln Ave or any nearby residential street.

What about transportation?

Because we’re asking y'all to drive to three locations, sharing a vehicle with others who are in town (and have similar timing or sleep locations for the evening) is recommended! If you do NOT have a ride, please let us know and we can help coordinate carpooling.

What style of attire?

Answer

We encourage you to wear something that’s comfortable, not too formal, and makes you feel confident and fabulous! Also somewhat practical footwear (or a second pair of shoes to swap out) would be best on the farm as the ground can be uneven.

Will the ceremony take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’re hoping outdoors near a gazebo! Though if it rains, we’ll head to the barn.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

At Braise during dinner, yes. At Sugar Maple, no.

What’s on the menu?

Answer

Braise’s menu is seasonal and rotates, so it’s hard to guarantee. We’re going to select dishes that satisfy a range of palates and diets. Please let us know if you have any dietary preferences/needs in your RSVP!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest”, then yes. If not, we’d prefer if it were just you at the private ceremony and dinner.

Can I tell folks about drinks at Sugar Maple?

Answer

It’s a beer hall open to the public with plenty of common areas -- go right ahead!

Are there additional gatherings on Friday and Sunday?

Answer

No. We’re aiming to keep the group festivities to Saturday only. We encourage you to see friends and family (if applicable) while you’re in town and enjoy all that Milwaukee has to offer that time of year. If at a loss for ideas, check out our Things To Do section!
