We're asking for "cocktail/semi-formal attire." For example: Women can wear summer dresses, slip dresses, pantsuits, a dressy skirt or pants and top. As for men, opt for a dress shirt or colored polo shirt and slacks or khakis, with the option to wear a tie if you'd like. Yes, it's a barn wedding, but a classy barn wedding. Be comfortable, but please no jeans, shorts, tank tops/t-shirts, sneakers, club attire, (or wedding dresses 😆). Remember it will be October and we are in the mid-west. It could be summer temps or we could have snow. Dress accordingly and bring a sweater for insurance. The venue is not temp regulated.
Both! Our ceremony will be outdoors right next to the barn. Dinner and cocktail hour will be inside upstairs. There are two entrances to the upstairs of the barn. Both are accessed from the outside and one of which is handicap accessible with a ramp.
As much as we love and adore all of the children in our life, please leave the littles at home. Have a date night! Get a babysitter, leave the kids at home, and get into a little trouble with us to celebrate our special day. :)
Please arrive about 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself enough time to park and be seated before the ceremony begins.
Yes! There is a parking area next to the barn that will be marked. There are a few handicap parking spots available up near the barn that are marked as such for those that need it.
Just to throw everyone for a loop we are doing something less traditional, but more fun! We are having a full taco bar complete with beef and chicken options with all the fixin's! Ashley's favorite was the mango salsa! 10/10
Yes! Beer/seltzer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be hosted! Please remember to bring cash to tip your bartenders!
Yes! We have hired Kobussen bus service to shuttle guests to and from the hotel and venue. Please refer to the travel tab for more details.
