When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please confirm your attendance by April 1, 2022. If you are able to join us, please let us know of any food allergies, or dietary requirements, along with your dinner selection.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

The Dreaded Topic : COVID - 19

Answer

The rules and regulations to travel into European countries are ever-changing. In a later email to all guests we will provide the most up to date information on what certification is needed for entry into Italy. Currently Italy requires a “Green Pass”. This translates to both Proof of Vaccination against Covid-19 (Phizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson), along with proof of a negative Covid-19 test 24 hours prior to departure. Addtionally Proof of Vaccination must be shown for dining indoors at restaurants, entry to museums, and public transportation.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

We invite our guests to kickoff the weekend in style by attending our Welcome Party, hosted by Shawn & Ann Montgomery, on Wednesday, 5/25/2022 at 6:30 p.m. at Trattoria del Glicine. You'll receive additional information regarding transportation for this event upon check-in at the hotel.

Will dinner be served at the Welcome Party?

Answer

The welcome party will begin with terrace cocktails and finger food, followed by a formal seated dinner and wine pairings at a local trattoria. Transportation for these events will be provided. The dress code for this event is Summertime Cocktail.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation, courtesy of Tracy Montgomery, will be provided for all guest staying at the two designated properties (La Locanda & Grand Hotel Imperiale Resort & Spa) for both the Welcome Party and Wedding Day.

Is there a Dress Code for the Wedding?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get fancy with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for our evening. Please, no jeans. We kindly ask that you do not wear colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivory, beige. Other than that - wear whatever colors you feel most glamorous in!

But Andrea, should I wear heels?

Answer

For the welcome party - absolutely! Be mindful that our venue will require two flights of stairs from the reception space to the ceremony space. There is also gravel around the venue so I'd recommend for a sturdier option rather than your favorite Louboutin's.

Is there a Dress Code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We are dreaming of an ALL WHITE Welcome Party. Please wear shades of white, beige, and khaki when selecting your attire.

What will the weather be like in Northern Italy this time of year?

Answer

On average, the daily temperature will be around 75 degrees, and drop to around 70 in the evening. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evenings as it tends to be cooler near the water.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As long as mother nature works in our favor, both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. We have planned for alternate locations for all events if the weather has other plans for us!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
