Our Wedding Party

Lorenzo Serrato

Best Man

Where do I start with this guy? Some of my best memories growing up, is with this guy! We have gone through thick and thin together and I’ve watched him grow into a great family man. I’m proud to have him as my best man...Este negro sabe bailar.

Todd Johnson

Best Man

I met Todd in elementary school and he was about 6ft 200Ibs as a 3rd grader. Todd and I really started becoming good friends when he moved back home from college at Central Michigan. Todds that one friend you can always randomly call and just start laughing at the things that he says. Todd Johnson is a good man and I am honored to have him as my best man.

Eli Held

Groomsman

Hide your wives, hide your kids…FOR REAL haha

Daniel Blank

Groomsman

Danny is Kara’s best friend since kindergarten. I’ve been able to see firsthand why Danny and Kara have been friends for so long and why they have the connection that they have. He’s always there for her, cares for her and has so many genuine qualities. I’m glad that I can now call him a friend. I knew there was no other thing to do then make him a part of our special day.

Duane Kamman

Groomsman

Duane was my basketball coach in high school and would just scream at us because he grew up watching Bob knight. I coached with him for 8 years and we became good friends. At 14, who would’ve thought that 10 years later I'd be drinking beers and going to bachelor parties together with this guy.

David Warfield

Groomsman

I met David about 8 years ago and we just clicked. Only person on earth that can eat McDonald’s everyday and still have abs. Rumor has it, he's yet to find something he’s not naturally good at.

Alex Hernandez

Groomsman

I’ve known Alex since the diaper days. My brotha from anotha motha. Alex is super shy so don’t expect much of a conversation out of him. He might not even make it to the wedding.....

Morgan Flynn

Maid of Honor

Morgan is one that I am so lucky to call a lifelong friend for over 20 years. This girl & I have had so many experiences together, starting in our Highschool days, through college and continuing up until now. Although, she may have been surprised and shocked to be given the role of “Maid of Honor” I hope she wouldn't have it any other way. After Morgan spent many years in SF, then New York, we both finally made our way back to SF after all these years. Although we have had so many shared experiences together throughout the years, I must say that these past few years have been our “golden years”. With about 5 years of living within the same area code we are now right across the street from each other. I have learned so much about Morgan & the person that she truly is. Morgan has always been such a great friend and someone I have always had fun with, but I have been able to see the real Morgan these past few years. Morgan has also been given the pleasure of spending the most amount of time with Tony & I as a couple. I mean living right across the street from us, how can you not? She is so positive, motiving, fun, and well lets just say, that’s why we call her “coach”. This girl has no idea how much she means to me and how happy I am to have her as a friend. I can always count on her no matter what. I will forever cherish this time and living so close to one another. Above her kindness & sweet personality, Morgan is always down to have a good time & I can always count on that.

Emily Wentworth

Bridesmaid

My high school longtime friend. My Notre Dame classmate, where we had so many constant laughs and made so many ridiculous and silly memories. Emily and I have been friends for over 2 decades and our bond has gotten even stronger these last few years, as Em says “Im a Kara fan”. My family brought Emily to Mexico for the first time back in our younger days and lets just say, we gave them a run for their money. Lets hope this trip to Mexico is, well same same, but different. After years apart, one Nor Cal girl for many years and one So Cal girl for many years, we have both finally made it back to our roots, SF girls. I am lucky to be able to see this girl on the weekly, whether its running into one another while walking the dogs, going out to eat, or simply making plans to hang out for whatever occasion we come up with. I am very lucky to have this girl by my side, a true lifelong friend that is always there for me. Emily is a true friend through and through and I love the friendship that we have.

Amy Keefe

Bridesmaid

My sweet sweet Aim..Another friend since the high school days. Part of the click with Bridesmaids, Morgan and Emily, we have all been friends for over 20 years. Amy and I got to spend our college days together in SD, where I was at SDSU and Amy was at USD. After college Amy eventually headed back to SF where I would get to crash at her apartment in the city when I came over for a few days, we always managed to have fun together when we could. While I remained in SD and then moved to Chicago, Amy moved out to New York. Lucky for me she was now just a short plane ride away. I will never forget one of my favorite memories was getting off from night shift going to the airport and heading out to New York for one of my first Thanksgivings away to spend it with Amy. I will never regret that decision and ever forget those memories. Amy has since remained in New York with her now husband and son Tommy, and although we may not see one another all of the time I think about her regularly. Life has changed (for the better) but every time I see Amy, we pick up right where we left off.I love my aim!

Kaitlynn Aguirre

Bridesmaid

Friends for 15 years and wow, how so much has changed! Kaitlynn and I were San Diego classmates turned Pacific Beach roommates. Kaitlynn is the girl that will go up to you, introduce herself and take you in as one of her own. So welcoming and warm. We have had so many memories and laughs having had lived together in our glory days in SD. Kaitlynn is notorious for moving all around the US and back, but has never failed to keep in touch, ask for updates and continues to always be there. I was given the opportunity to be a bridesmaid in Kaitlynns wedding back in 2018 and I would have it no other way that she repay me and be by my side on my special day. Such a bubbly, sweet and generous friend that I am so lucky to have by my side. Kaitlynn will now be residing in Arizona with her husband Daniel and her 2 little boys. I can’t wait to have her a bit closer and give her a visit in her new hometown…..for now : )

Lauren Johnson

Bridesmaid

Now, if you read how I met Shayna, I got even luckier with Lauren. Shayna and Lauren were longtime besties and roommates. I met Lauren through Shayna and the three musketeers were created. How lucky I was to gain another beautiful friend who I connected with on so many levels, we just clicked. Although the 3 of us became so close and had so much fun together, Lauren and I also developed our own bond. We have taken many solo trips together and have created so many memories and shared experiences together. Some of the funniest times have been with this girl. I live for my San Diego visits to see one of my favorite girls. I have had so many great memories with her over these almost past 10 years and I always look forward to creating more. There is never a dull moment with this girl and I cherish every time we hangout with one another. Lauren is always up for fun, there if you need her and a girl I miss on the regular.

Christina Pastoral

Bridesmaid

Another gem of a friend who I met through bridesmaid Kaitlynn. Christina was the girl who worked with Kaitlynn and always came around for our house “parties” and SD outings. She simply was, well…Kaitlynns friend. Fast forward and Christina and I began to hang out with one another one on one together in SD. Fast forward we had a wild adventure together in Nashville for Kaitlynns bachelorette and then became travel buddies from SD to Westlake village for the wedding, turned roommates for 3 days. We were 2 wild bridesmaids together just living the dream. Fast forward, we took a girls trip together to my old home, Chicago, for the beloved St. Paddys Holiday. Lets just say our trip ended in the beginning of covid, and what an experience that was, but no one else I would have wanted to be with. Christina is the definition of always down for a good time. Her wild spirit and super fun personality drew me in. I can count on her to discuss the serious things in life, but also be there to have a good old time.

Shayna Elkins

Bridesmaid

Ohhhh Shayna! Shayna and I God willingly met in that awkward post college, no new friends stage of life. Word on the street was there was a family friend who went to a woman for her “facial aesthetics”, whose daughter was starting a new job at Mary Birch in San Diego, just as I was. I figured Id never have anything in common or she wouldn’t be someone who I would connect with and I brushed it off. Fast forward to the elevator ride when I finally awkwardly asked if her name was “Shayna”, and it was, and lets just say…the rest is history. Shayna and I hit it off and became the obsessed work buddies now turned life besties. We have been friends for 10 years now and it feels like I have known her for forever. This girl and I have shared all of our deepest darkest secrets and I know I can count on her to keep them. The bond that we created was one I truly never expected and I can now say she is a huge part of some of my best years in San Diego. She became one of my true ride or dies and there is nothing that can break it. There are so many fun times, memories and laughs with her and I would not trade my time with her for anything. Shayna is my beauty queen friend, and I wouldn’t have her any other way.
