Chicago Skyline

Travel

Here are some of our recommendations for our out of town guests, but feel free to contact us directly with any questions! For reference, we live in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago (Ashland and 18th). Our events will be about 3 miles away from each other (ceremony in Lincoln Park neighborhood, reception in Logan Square neighborhood) and we HIGHLY recommend staying near a CTA train stop to get to downtown easier if you are interested in going into downtown during your visit.

Travel Note

Parking

If you are driving in for the ceremony, there is paid parking available at Lincoln Park Zoo or free street parking nearby. See FAQ section for more details. If you are driving in for the reception, there is a free parking lot and free street parking available.

Train

CTA Train

Best and most affordable way to get around the city is using the CTA train. Tickets are $2.50 each way or you can get an unlimited pass: 1-Day CTA Pass for $5 ; 3-Day CTA Pass for $15 If you plan to use the train we recommend downloading the Ventra app or you can purchase tickets at a train station.
