Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There is a paid parking lot at Lincoln Park Zoo. Rates range from $30–40 per day. The parking lot address is 2400 N Cannon Drive, Chicago, IL 60614. As an alternative, there is free first come, first serve street parking on N Stockton Drive. Please arrive early if you plan to look for street parking. Reception: There is a free parking lot and free street parking at Ravinia Brewing Co.

How do I find the ceremony area?

Answer

If you are parking in the main zoo parking lot, drive all the way down to the Nature Boardwalk Bridge to park near the closest entrance to the ceremony. If using street parking on N Stockton Drive: closest entrance address is 1911 N Stockton Drive, Chicago, IL 60614. Enter over the Nature Boardwalk to walk to the Peoples Gas Pavilion.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will only be about 30 minutes to an hour long, please arrive punctually at 2pm. Make sure to allow time for traffic, parking, etc.

Can I bring an additional person?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those explicitly invited and who have RSVP'd yes. Please make sure to clear any additional guests with us.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding ceremony is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies can wear cocktail dresses or jumpsuits, and the gentlemen can wear a suit and tie or dress shirt. For the reception at the brewery, feel free to change into something more casual!

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Of course we will accept your amazing gifts. But please do not feel obligated to bring or gift us anything. If you feel inclined to give us a wedding gift, please see our registry link.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both events will be outdoors. We expect it to be a hot day (about 75-80 degrees) with it getting chilly at night (around 65 degrees).

What food will be served at the reception?

Answer

Food will be available from 6pm to 8pm. Food includes: caesar salad, chips and guacamole, taco bar with choice of chicken tinga or carnitas.
