We're getting married!

Alex and Brianna met on an online dating app called Hinge in the summer of 2020. After talking and getting to know each other, they discovered that they had multiple chances to meet through a close mutual friend over that past year, but something always got in the way. Thankfully, fate stepped in and led them to one another. They went on their first date at both of their favorite restaurant, Streetside. After just one lunch, they both knew they had met someone incredibly special. From that day on, they were inseparable. In August of 2020, Alex asked Brianna to be his girlfriend, and in just three months they decided to officially move in together!

In October of 2022, not too long after Alex and Brianna celebrated their second anniversary together, they took a romantic weekend trip to Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara had become an important place for the couple, as they had celebrated many occasions in their relationship there. Alex planned a special evening on October 14th to watch the sunset on Butterfly Beach together. He had picked out Brianna's outfit, and coordinated a huge surprise with the help of his friends and both of their families. When they arrived at Butterfly Beach, Alex got down on one knee and asked Brianna to marry him. As Brianna tearfully said yes, a photographer (and dear friend) that Alex hired came out of hiding to take pictures of the beautiful moment. To top off an already unforgettable weekend, Alex surprised Brianna with a group of their friends showing up to celebrate the engagement over dinner. The following weekend, he surprised her yet again with an intimate engagement party with their families.
