It all started in Morgantown at 512 Beverly Avenue…. Living less than 12 feet apart for nearly a year before finally meeting, Shanna and Logan were almost a missed connection. A bold, out-of-character decision was made by Shanna to text “the boys upstairs,” and the rest is history. Logan and Shanna have been living in Wheeling, WV with their “son,” Peanut the dachshund, since Shanna graduated from WVU in 2020. Anyone who knows Peanut knows he is a handful, but (most) love him anyway! He loves his mom and dad, and is so excited that they are going to be together furever. Shanna and Logan love traveling together, and have been to Denver, CO; Ontario, CA; Cancún, MX; Chicago, IL; Asheville, NC; Key West, FL; Las Vegas, NV; and many more locations in between. Their next goal is to make it to Europe to experience even more new things together.

Shanna’s proposal request to Logan was “do it somewhere beautiful.” After much anticipation and plenty of proposal-worthy trips, Logan finally selected Siesta Key, FL as the destination. The #1 Beach in the United States has beautiful white quartz beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters, definitely fulfilling Shanna’s request. When Logan asked Shanna to take a walk on the beach at sunset to take pictures, she knew something was up - usually it would be her asking that question! With the support of Logan’s brother Spencer and his sister-in-law Erika, Logan asked to do one more photo and dropped down on one knee. Shanna said yes, of course!
