Giant City State Park
If you are looking for something to do outdoors while in the area, look no further! Giant City State Park has great options for getting in touch with nature. Not to mention, the main part of Makanda is not far away and has great Ice Cream so you can replace the calories you lost hiking.
Makanda Trading Company
Blink and you've passed through! This tiny village has a wonderful ice cream shop and a small strip with different stores. This area is still stuck in the 1970's but is fun to visit.
Jeremy "Boo" Rochman Memorial Park
If you are traveling with young kids or are still a child at heart, this park is unlike any other. It is definitely fun for all featuring a castle, dragons, and tons of tunnels to pass through.
Walker's Bluff
If you like good wine, good food, and good times, Walker's Bluff is the place for you. This vineyard has several options on things to do and is only 3 minutes from our wedding venue. It is also very close to the hotel that is blocked off for our guest (see travel tab).
