We're Tying the Knot

We met in our Honors Scholars Freshman Seminar, "Happiness". From the time we spent together in the seminar and the time outside of class, we began to see a connection. While neither one of us remember much of what we learned in that class, we do know that we found happiness.

Over Christmas Break we went on vacation with my (Madeline's) family. It is a tradition that every other year we go down to Gatlinburg, TN. This was the first time Andrew was going to be able to go with us, and little did I know what he had planned for the trip. Knowing that Gatlinburg is my favorite place, Andrew knew that was where he would propose. Once we got to the end of the Laurel Falls Trail, Andrew and I climbed up on a rock in front of the falls to "take a picture". So while my mom and sister had their cameras out to photograph all of it, Andrew got down on one knee and proposed. I of course said "YES"!
