DUE TO THE LACK OF HOTELS ON THE ISLAND, AND THE INCREASING POPULARITY OF EDISTO BEACH, BOOKING A PLACE TO STAY CAN BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT IF NOT DONE A FEW MONTHS IN ADVANCE (AT MINIMUM). OF COURSE, IF A DAY TRIP OR A HOTEL IS MORE YOUR FORTE, PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP IN MIND THAT THE NEAREST HOTEL IS ABOUT A 45 MINUTE DRIVE TO CHARLESTON.
