Just 30 minutes south of Bellingham is the Oyster Dome Trailhead in Blanchard State Forest. Offering beautiful views of the surrounding seaside and forests, this hike is one of the Nakatani family favorites in the area. At about 5 mi. roundtrip with over 1,000 ft. of elevation gain, it's a workout! You will need a Discover Pass to enter the park.
Grab a bike and hit one of the many trails that connects all the different neighborhoods of Bellingham! Check out Lake Whatcom or Whatcom Falls Park, bike to the Saturday Farmer's Market in downtown, ride along the waterfront from downtown all the way to Fairhaven, the are so many options!
