Boulevard Park and Bellingham Boardwalk
Walk from downtown Bellingham to the historic Fairhaven district along the gorgeous waterfront. Take in the views of Bellingham Bay and the islands in the fresh sea breeze!
Fairhaven Neighborhood
The historic Fairhaven district is full of shops, local restaurants, bars, and plenty of beautiful walking routes through the neighboring residential streets of South Hill and Edgemoor.
Oyster Dome Trailhead
Just 30 minutes south of Bellingham is the Oyster Dome Trailhead in Blanchard State Forest. Offering beautiful views of the surrounding seaside and forests, this hike is one of the Nakatani family favorites in the area. At about 5 mi. roundtrip with over 1,000 ft. of elevation gain, it's a workout! You will need a Discover Pass to enter the park.
Bellingham Bike Trails
Grab a bike and hit one of the many trails that connects all the different neighborhoods of Bellingham! Check out Lake Whatcom or Whatcom Falls Park, bike to the Saturday Farmer's Market in downtown, ride along the waterfront from downtown all the way to Fairhaven, the are so many options!
Bellingham Farmers Market
Every Saturday in summer vendors from the surrounding counties come to Bellingham to sell their wares at the beautiful Bellingham Market Depot! There's so much to see, we recommend a visit. Just please, don't be late to the wedding!!!

Visit Western Washington University
Visit the beautiful campus of Western Washington University. Situated on a hilltop overlooking downtown, this gorgeous campus is a joy to visit in the summertime and meander through. Fair warning it may be cramped since the start of school is September 25th, but it won't be boring!
Mount Baker
Mt. Baker boasts some of the most beautiful scenery and hiking trails in the state! It's definitely a day trip, but most worth it!
