Kevin and Liz met while working at The Met Deli during their ECU days. Kevin was the old, grumpy sandwich maker and Liz was the happy, personable cashier/waitress. Though the romance did not begin here, there were a couple of failed attempts (cheesy pick-up lines and late night fb messages). It wasn't until 2018 that Liz and Kevin came across each other on a dating app. From there the relationship blossomed into what one would consider to be the most enviable relationships to ever exist.

Liz and Kevin met working at the Met Deli in Greenville, NC where they both attended East Carolina University (Go Pirates!). There was quite an age difference (5 years) at the time but they both 'grew up' and ended up in Raleigh. Fast forward 7 odd years later, they reconnected via a dating app service that resulted in Kevin texting her since he still had her number from the Met Deli days and the rest is history.
