Laguna Del Condado San Juan Paddle Boarding- Rent paddle boards, kayaks, etc for 2 hours for $20-30. Warning that it can be very windy and sunny! El Yunque- located 45 minutes from San Juan, this is the only rainforest in America full of hiking trails, waterfalls, rare species, and azipline park. Please note that this requires reservations which can be made up to one month in advance. https://www.recreation.gov/ticket/facility/300017 Cueva del Indio- located 1.25 hours from San Juan, this was Lindsay and Ricardo’s first official date in PR. It is a cave where you can boulder (on your own so be careful), a tranquil lagoon, and numerous spots for pictures. https://www.discoverpuertorico.com/profile/cueva-del-indio-arecibo/8721

To Explore and Learn!

To Explore and Learn!

Old San Juan (Viejo San Juan)- located within 15 minute drive of downtown San Juan but be aware that traffic and parking here are very difficult. (It is almost easier to Uber since the streets and parking are extremely narrow, and drivers bump other cars as they pass or park often.) This is the home to historical sites, museums, city walls, colorful homes and beautiful open plazas all on the water. Walking tours are available either at your hotel desk or booking online. Foodie tours, architectural tours, historical tours, etc.

To Party!

To Party!

La Placita (Condado)- an area full of bars and clubs with all kinds of music. You can jump from place to place to enjoy all the placita has to offer. If you are staying in Condado, we would suggest walking since there’s a lot of traffic going in and out. This is where most of the tourists hang out. Calle Loiza (Condado)- a street full of clubs and bars. Locals choice of hang out. El Tablado (Guaynabo) - a boardwalk in a parking lot full of bars. Great spot to just chill and drink for very inexpensive. Viejo San Juan- Old San Juan is full of a variety of bars all within walking distance. If anyone tells you to go to La Perla, just know that you may run into unsavory characters and drugs.
