We would recommend arriving around 3:30-3:45, the latest. We do have the venue all to ourselves, so feel free to arrive earlier and explore!
For those staying at the Garnet Hill Lodge, we would recommend arriving on Friday Aug 23rd, the latest. There will be casual activities Friday night, including lawn games and a fire pit with s'mores! Feel free to arrive earlier than Friday and let us know so we can come say hi!
We do not have a required dress code, so this is up to you! Late summer in upstate New York can be pretty warm and humid during the day but temperatures will generally drop in the evening so plan accordingly.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be on the lawn out front of the lodge with cocktail hour out on the patio and dinner moving inside the lodge to their main dining room. Following dinner, we will move to the covered and screened-in pavilion for drinks and dancing. Should there be inclement weather, the ceremony will also be in the pavilion.
Please see the "Schedule" tab of the wedding website for more details.
We have provided driving instructions on the "Travel" tab of the website. As there is virtually no public transportation in this area, please plan to have your own vehicle (or carpool with others if convenient). Please reach out to the bride/groom if you are concerned about planning your transportation.
Yes! For those staying on-site, please park nearest to your lodging. There are plenty of parking space for those who will not be staying on-site, as well.
Absolutely! There will be plenty of activities for kids, including a beach with other water activities, lawn games, disc golf and more. Adults are also more than welcome to participate in the fun too!
We will provide a spot on the RSVP to make this note. However, please feel free to reach out directly to the bride/groom to let us know. Please note, there will be a vegetarian entrée option for dinner.
We would prefer that our guests do not use their personal phones/cameras during the ceremony. We will have two hired photographers capturing the moment for us and want our guests to just sit back and share in the celebration. There will be ample opportunity for photos during the cocktail hour and reception!
We will be sending out RSVPs via mail and digitally as well. Feel free to use either method.
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a table for your convenience. We also have a registry tab on the website.
