"Some friends and I went to Postbellum, a restaurant and rooftop bar in Richmond, VA. After eating a few appetizers, in walked Liesel and her cousin, Allie. As they settled in at their table, I caught Liesel looking my way and remember thinking “those are the most amazing blue eyes I have ever seen.” She looked away and we both went back to our respective conversations. 30 seconds later, I looked over at her again, and she was beaming me with those stunning eyes. I said to my friend “Look at those eyes! If she looks over here one more time, I’m going to go talk to her.” Sure enough, a couple minutes later, we caught each other’s gaze. I slapped my friend on his leg and said “Alright! I’m going over!” I stood up, basically mid-conversation with my friends with no regard for a cordial end to whatever we were talking about and walked over to Liesel and Allie. As awkward as you may imagine, I walked right up to the table, stuck my hand out and said, “Hi! I’m Sean.” I've been locked-in to in those eyes ever since."
"My cousin Allie was in town visiting me for the weekend and I decided to take her to Postbellum (a rooftop restaurant and bar) as the sun was setting over Richmond on a warm Friday night. We walked in and found a hightop table to sit at in the middle of the rooftop. I glanced around and my gaze settled on a guy, who was quite attractive I might add, that was sitting with some friends. I thought I had caught his eye, but didn't want to be weird, so went back to chatting with Allie. I looked over once more out of curiosity and he was looking right at me! I turned back around and Allie and I ordered a couple drinks. A little while later, I was still thinking about the attractive man sitting not far from us, so I looked back again to see if he was still there. Again, we held eye contact for just a few seconds and then I turned back to Allie to continue our conversation. Before I knew it, the handsome guy I had been glancing at was standing next to me with his hand out saying "Hi, I'm Sean." We exchanged numbers, went on a date that next week, and you know the rest of the story. It was true love at third sight and a match made in Heaven."
