FAQs

The Wedding Website of Libby Snow and Chris Higbee
Much like figuring out the proper technique to eat blue crab or understanding how to set a spinnaker sail, we're sure you have plenty of questions about the weekend.
Question

Please tell me the best way to eat blue crab!

Answer

1. Twist off the legs and claws off the body, break and pull out the meat. 2. Pull off the apron (the flap located on the abdomen). 3. Turn the crab over and pull upward on the shell from the back of the crab peeling it forward. 4. Grab each side firmly and bend in the middle, breaking in half. 5. Pick the meat from each half.

Question

Wait, how does one actually set a spinnaker sail?

Answer

TBD. We're still figuring that one out ourselves.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP as soon as possible so we can maintain an accurate headcount but no later than March 31, 2024.

Question

Is There A Hotel Block?

Answer

Due to capacity constraints, rooms at the Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island are specifically reserved for just the wedding party and immediate family, as directly communicated to those individuals. For all other guests, please visit the Travel section of our website for wonderful accommodations nearby. We recommend booking your reservation as early as possible and no farther east than St. Michaels due to coinciding events in the area.

Question

Do I Have To Stay In One Of The Hotels Listed On Your Travel Page?

Answer

No, the options listed on the Travel section of our website are just general recommendations. Feel free to stay at any place of your choosing but we recommend no farther east than St. Michaels due to proximity to the venue and coinciding events in the area.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to capacity constraints, we respectfully ask for no kids to be in attendance.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the Wylder Hotel will be limited due to capacity constraints and the guests staying on-site. We will arrange shuttle transportation to and from the ceremony and reception on Saturday for those who wish to not drive.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will provide shuttle transportation to and from the ceremony and reception for St. Michaels and points in between. A list of pick up times and locations will be posted in the FAQ section and communicated directly to guests closer to the event.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please see the Schedule section of our website for preferred attire at each event. Formal attire for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony will be held outdoor on the waterfront lawn and certain types of heels may sink into the grass. The cocktail hour will be on the outdoor patio while the dinner and reception will utilize both the indoor ballroom and outdoor patio. Please plan accordingly for the locations, season and time of day.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please see the Schedule section of our website for all wedding-related events during the weekend.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions please indicate as such on your RSVP and we will ensure the staff is aware.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please visit the Registry section of our website (when available). We appreciate your love and support.
