Question

What is the address of the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at the FDR Park Gazebo in Philadelphia, PA 19145. There is ample parking right near the gazebo, and signage will guide you to guest seating for our big event! Our reception will follow at Barcade Philadelphia, located at 1114 Frankford Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125. The quickest drive between locations is approximately 20 minutes, so there is plenty of time for you to drive safe & check out some of our favorite sights in the city! Please see our "Things to Do" tab for our suggested route!

Will there be parking at FDR Park for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot in the park adjacent to the gazebo where our ceremony will be. The park will still be open to the public. The park closes at 6pm, so if you would like to leave your car there to rideshare, please remember to leave the reception a bit early to ensure you're back to your vehicle in time to get it.

What about parking at the reception?

Answer

If you indicated on your RSVP that you will be driving to the reception (rather than taking the shuttle), there will be a parking space reserved for you at The Fillmore Lot, located at 49 Richmond St, Philadelphia, PA 19123 - only 2 blocks from Barcade. Spots are limited, so we are only able to accommodate those who indicated they will not be taking the shuttle on the RSVP. If your plans have changed and you need a space, please contact us and we can help! Street parking near Barcade is VERY limited, so please do ask if you need help!

When does the party end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The party at Barcade ends at 4:30! This allows us time to clear the venue out before the bar opens to the public. This also ensures that guests who choose to leave their car at the ceremony location & take the shuttle will have plenty of time to collect their car before the park closes at 6pm. We do love to party, though! There will be an unofficial after party with the bride & groom in South Philly. If you parked your car at the park, please collect it before joining us at Tattooed Mom's on South Street! The after party will go until the bride & groom are too tired to go on!

What is the schedule of events?

Answer

We ask that all guests arrive at the ceremony location by 11am so that we won't miss you as we say our "I do's"! The reception will follow, beginning at 1pm. There is ample time between the ceremony and reception to allow for photos, scenic routes through the city, or quick stops to your hotel if needed. If you will be taking the shuttle, don't worry about a thing! We will get you to the reception on time & in one piece. Our reception will conclude at 4:30pm, at which time the shuttles will be able to drive you back to the park to collect your car. Barcade will return to a normal-functioning bar following our reception, so we ask that guests please say goodbyes at 4:30pm so that we have time to clean up before the bar opens to the public.

When and where can I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP at the "RSVP" tab on the top of our website! We ask that all guests RSVP by January 31st so that we have time to notify our venue.

So... what's your new last name?

Answer

We're excited to start this new chapter of our life together as the Flynns! We've chosen this name together and feel it represents us well. Lexi is excited to move closer to the beginning of the alphabet & Nate is excited to have a much shorter last name.

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that guests wear semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and parts of the reception will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly - it might be chilly!

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Our reception will be held at a bar, so there will be plenty of it. There will be an open bar for beer & wine, with a cash option for liquor-based drinks. There are also many non-alcoholic options if you like drinking straight mixer.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we would love to say "the more, the merrier," to everyone, we can only accommodate those on the invitations, as our reception venue has limited space. If there is a significant other you would like to bring, who is not on the invitation, please contact us! (Contact information at the bottom of this page)

What will be served for lunch?

Answer

We will have an open buffet including both meat & vegetarian options. If you have a specific dietary need, PLEASE reach out to us so we can communicate this to our venue!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love you & all the people you've made, only children on the invitations can be accommodated. If there are any special circumstances you would like to discuss, please reach out to us! (Contact information at the bottom of this page)

Are there hotel room blocks reserved?

Answer

We are currently working with two hotels to secure discounted rates for our out-of-town guests. If you'd like an option closer to the ceremony, we recommend the Radisson at 2033 Penrose Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19145. Reservations can be made by calling (267) 857-7756. For those who would prefer a hotel closer to our reception, we recommend the Holiday Inn Express - Penn's Landing at 100 N Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Reservations can be made by calling (215) 627-7900.

Where should we bring/send our gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 4127 Cresson St, Apt 2F, Philadelphia, PA 19127. A card box will be at the reception as well.
