The dress code is semi-formal or "cocktail" attire. We would appreciate gents in a a button-up shirt and dress pants or a suit and tie, and ladies in a cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top. No jeans please! Also, please be mindful of the weather as our ceremony is occurring outdoors in Tower Grove Park. While we have our fingers crossed for a lovely spring day, there is always the chance that the weather is less ideal so we ask guests to be prepared.
Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but May in St. Louis is usually pretty comfortable. Think somewhere between 60 and 80 degrees. However, please monitor the weather and be prepared for colder temperatures or rain.
Sorta. Guests will be responsible for finding their own transportation to and from the ceremony location, as well as to the reception. However, there will be a complimentary shuttle provided to guests from the reception venue to the primary hotel following the reception. Information on transportation options available as well as the shuttle back to the hotel can be found on the transportation page of our website!
For Tower Grove Park, there is no parking lots but plenty of street parking around the Music Stand. With that being said, it is a public park so the closest street parking spots are not guaranteed. At Silo Point at Brookdale Farms, there is a large parking lot for guests right next to the reception space.
Check out this site's things to do section for some of the most popular suggestions. However, we didn't want to overload that section with food and drink recommendations so consider the following too: Food: Balkan Treat Box (seriously, it's the best! Sean recommends the cevapi but you can't go wrong); Gioia's Deli on Macklind (nestled in the Hill, St. Louis' Italian neighborhood, this deli makes famous hot salami sandwiches. Also grab a bag of red hot riplets while you are there); Taco Buddha (With massive and delicious tacos, this is our favorite taco place around); and if you can't decide -- head to City Foundry STL (its a giant food hall with loads of food options, a winery, puttshack, and more). We'd be happy to share more recommendations if you are trying to hunt down certain St. Louis foods like gooey butter cake, toasted raviolis, the slinger, or even St. Louis style pizza (although we advise against this last one). Breweries: St. Louis has some awesome craft beer and is also home to Budweiser if that is more your style. A few of our top brewery recommendations include Side Project Brewing and Shared Brewing; Narrow Gauge Brewing; Perennial Brewing; Second Shift Brewing, and Alpha Brewing, to name a few. Bars: While we tend to frequent breweries more often than bars, a few of our favorites are the Armory; Amsterdam Tavern (St. Louis' first soccer-centric bar and obviously Sean's favorite); Ballpark Village; Up-Down Barcade; Three Sixty Rooftop Bar (the best views of St. Louis and a bit classier than most of our other recommendations); International Tap House.
