"And so together, they built a life they loved"

It all started in high school biology when Alex switched into my class so she could spend the period with her best friend. However, Alex didn't want to sit in the front row so they ended up moving to the row in front of me. I didn't know Alex and she didn't know me, but after several group lab assignments and paper balls that accidentally flew into the back of Alex's head, we traded numbers. What started out as Alex texting me in hopes of copying my homework answers quickly evolved into study sessions, texts about anything and everything, and group hangouts. When I finally worked up the courage to ask Alex out on a date to see a horror movie, she forgot her ID. Rather than call it a night, we went to see some kids movie and ended up chatting through the entire thing (don't worry, no one else was in the theater so we weren't those people). The rest is history.
