Amy Phillips is a wife and mother to two beautiful boys. Amy is currently working on obtaining her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine with a graduation date in April 2023. Amy met Lex in an Athletic Training class at Baylor University in their early years of undergraduate coursework and hit it off instantly, quickly creating a friendship that would lead to Amy asking Lex to be the Godmother to her secondborn and Amy being the Matron of Honor in Lex’s wedding. At the wedding, you will catch Amy making sure Lex stays hydrated and nourished, crying many tears of happiness, and probably capturing many photos and moments for Lex and Rijo to keep for a lifetime.
Ricky Walker
Best Man
Ricky is a husband and father of two beautiful boys. Ricky is currently playing professional football in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He is the second-oldest of the Walker clan behind Rijo. Talk with Ricky about all things related to salt water fishing, life endeavors with his wife, Gabby, and their kids, Rijaz and Rocco, or talk about the many things he does in the community back home in the 757. At the wedding, you can find Ricky making sure things are going smoothly or somewhere on the dance floor getting it in.
Aysha Spencer

Some call her Big Sissy. Others know her as Auntie Ysha. But to you, it’s Esquire. A graduate of Berkeley Law, Aysha recently turned her dreams into reality by becoming a litigation attorney at the #1 law firm in the world. But if you were ever privileged enough to sneak a peek at the group chat, you would never know that she is our resident brainiac. Between her iconic one-liners, her expert (and at times inappropriate) use of gifs, and her days of finding the stage at any club, you can always count on Aysha to add a little razzle-dazzle. Known for her original choreography to Brian McKnight’s discography, her borderline obsession with football and the New England Patriots, and Exhibit A for why common sense isn’t common, Aysha is truly one of one. Bonded over their mutual love of dogs and mutual disdain for people, there is no place Aysha would rather be than standing beside Lex, supporting the bride-to-be (in everything but her choice to be a vegetarian).

Azriel is currently in the 7th grade and enjoys relaxing with his family, watching, Family Feud, being in his school band, and playing his guitar. When Azriel is not with his family, you can find him watching youtube videos! Some of his favorite Youtube personalities are B Love’s Life, Darius, Nick Avocado, and Tye!!!! Azriel’s favorite color is black, his favorite food is chicken fries and hash browns, and his favorite leisure activity is playing his guitar. Azriel also enjoys being an Uncle and loves watching his nephews Duke and Rocco. Azriel wishes to become a judge when he reaches adulthood and become a Judge on Hot Bench!!!

Danielle is a wife and mother to an 18-month-old daughter. she attended Texas State in San Marcos, and met Lex through Amy Phillips when visiting her in Waco while they were attending Baylor university. Danielle quickly fell in love with Lex and her banana bread. lex and Rijo have been at all of Danielle's major milestone events. they even came to the rescue of Danielle when her car broke down with her daughter in tow. overall, Danielle is always ready to bring the party, and if you want to become fast friends at the wedding, make sure to bring her a shot of whiskey.
R'Mondo Walker

"Mondo" is Rijo's next oldest sibling who is currently studying and playing football at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA. Mondo was with Rijo when he first met Lex at the Finish Line store. He enjoys spending time with his nephews and younger siblings when he is not making plays on the field. Catch him at the wedding getting geeked up with family having a great time.
Ann Meiners

Ann lives in Austin Texas with her lovely boyfriend Darryl and his adorable son Kai. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, and peaceful things like meditation and reading, but most importantly loves to eat and cook delicious food. Ann met Lex in college while in the Atheltic Training program at Baylor University and fell in love with Lex’s honesty, cooking, realness, and comedy amongst other things. She is a Cancer (oh lord emotional) and bonds with Rijo over their love for crystals.😂

Kam and Rijo go back to high school and is one third of the self-titled, "Big Three." There are countless memories that Kam will be happy to share with any and all who asks. When everyone meets him, you will see how infectious his energy is. Catch him working the room and making friends wherever he goes.
Shekinah Sharpe

As the youngest (and loudest) of four, Shekinah is used to being the center of attention. Whether she is erupting in laughter or causing a dance battle to erupt on the dance floor, you can hear Kinah coming from miles away. Having always had a passion for health, wellness, and fitness, Kinah recently pursued her dream of becoming a licensed chiropractor. She frequently travels to Haiti on mission trips to combine her talent for chiropractic care with her passion for ministry. When Kinah’s not cracking backs or cracking jokes, you can find her furiously cleaning any place she deems as dirty, coaching club volleyball, or claiming other people’s children as her own. Kinah laughs hard and loves harder, but with a torrid history of forgetting the rings as Amy’s maid of honor and being crowned as the worst bridesmaid in history, Kinah’s only responsibility in this wedding is to love Lex - a job that she could not only never mess up but one that comes so easy for all who know the beautiful bride-to-be.

The other third of the "Big Three's" trinity is Jamal. Jamal is a loving husband and father. He will make his way to Texas from Newport News, VA. Try testing his knowledge of movie quotes if you are looking to be impressed. On the wedding day, you can catch Jamal holding it down and doing his thing.
Jenesis Garcia

Jenesis is the youngest of 5 children and the only girl! She has 4 older brothers who are extremely protective and love her fiercely. Jenesis is currently in the 4th grade at Phenix K-8 School in Hampton, VA. She enjoys looking at Tic Tok videos, playing with her reborn baby Lucca, raising French Bulldog puppies, and reading. Jenesis enjoys being with family, cooking, learning new things, and being outside. When Jenesis is not doing all the fun things she truly enjoys, you can find her outdoors riding on her hoverboard or her bike. Jenesis is also an Aunt and truly enjoys chatting with her nephews (Duke and Rocco) via FaceTime and going over to their house to visit. Jenesis’s favorite colors are pink and purple, her favorite food is Chicken Alfredo, and her favorite pastime is playing dolls with all her babies!!! Jenesis would like to follow in her Mother and God Mother’s footsteps and become a teacher and eventually an administrator at an Elementary school.
