In the Fall of 2016, a group of roommates in a house on Ann St. in Ann Arbor were getting ready for the most timeless of Friday night traditions for University of Michigan seniors - heading straight to Rick's. One of the guests joining in the fun, Kyle, got introduced to one of the house residents he hadn't met in previous years at school, Allie. There was still a long way to go on the journey to where we are today, but our story began that day in the same city we will celebrate the start of the rest of our lives. We became friends over the rest of that last year of school, especially during our Spring Break trip to Riviera Maya. Among other tales, it was during that trip that Allie first coined the nickname Wild Kyle to describe the cave climbing and similar antics. We sat next to each other at a frigid graduation in the Big House, but from there went our separate ways. After a few years in San Diego, Allie decided that the next step in her life's journey was to move back to Michigan. Fate worked its magic and she wound up moving into the same apartment complex that Kyle lived in. When Kyle heard she was coming home, he offered to help her move in. The connection was immediate in summer night talks over the weeks that followed and on June 27th of 2021, our relationship formally began. By each other's side, the last few years have been full of wonderous adventures and memories that will last forever. In that time, first our spoiled pup Norman came into our lives in and then we bought our first house together to contain the next chapter of memories. On November 26th of 2022, we made plans to have Christmas Card pictures taken in LeFurge Woods Nature Preserve. We were able to contain our excitement following Michigan's second straight victory over ohio state to make it in time for a beautiful sunset. However, Kyle had more than Christmas cards in mind and pulled something sparkly out of his sleeve (actually sock). Allie remembered to say yes despite her surprise, the easiest decision she ever made. Now we are so excited to share the celebration of the start of the rest of our lives with all of you who have loved and supported us!
