After months of deliberation, Alex decided that his proposal to Hannah HAD TO take place in Boston. After all, Boston is where they met each other in 2014. Boston is where Hannah & Alex fell in love. So in the Fall of 2019, Alex needed an excuse to take Hannah to New England. After utilizing an admittedly thinly-veiled excuse, the weekend was set, and Alex was nervous! How would he do it? On Friday, October 11th, Alex would propose by reenacting their very first date. First, Alex took Hannah to their first date spot: Lucy’s Ethiopian Cafe. Afterwards, they walked down Boylston Avenue and recounted their fondest memories. Eventually, Hannah and Alex stumbled upon The Boston Public Gardens. It was drizzling, but Alex suggested that they walk through the park. It was empty, so they would have the park all to themselves. Little did Hannah know, they weren’t alone. Alex had a photographer who was awaiting the couple. So when Hannah and Alex came across an important bench - THE BENCH - Alex got down on his knee. For, it was in front of this bench that Alex and Hannah shared their first kiss 5 years before. And it was at this same bench on October 11 2019, that Alex proposed and asked Hannah to spend the rest of their lives together. Hannah said yes, and it started a wonderful weekend in Boston with friends and family. The journey continues on July 23rd, 2021, and Hannah & Alex hope you’ll be there to celebrate.
