Our wedding's dress code is beach semi-formal, but WTF does that mean??? For ladies, this may be a linen, cotton, or 100% silk cocktail dress or jumpsuit. For men, this can include a linen button-down shirt and dress pants (no ties necessary). It's open to interpretation but we highly suggest light and breathable fabrics as the wedding will be outdoors. We do ask that you stay away from jeans, tanks and t-shirts. The wedding is also not ON the beach, but we're pretty close!
Yes to cash. No to pesos. We STRONGLY recommend bringing small bills for tipping: plenty of ones, fives & tens. The front desk does provide change for larger bills, but it's easier to be prepared. While tipping isn't mandatory, it is customary to thank the staff for their services. We recommend tipping for bar service, pool-side service, housekeeping/turn down services, room service, and for service at restaurants. It doesn't have to be on a daily/per transaction basis, but tips are greatly appreciated there. You can also use your credit card for souvenirs and other purchases. Make sure your bank knows you'll be traveling outside the States!
