Susie Burkhalter
Matron of Honor
Susie moved to Pottsboro, TX from Iowa the summer before 5th grade. Through riding the same bus to school, mutual friends at recess, and the discovery of a shared sense of humor, Becky and Susie became fast friends. Their friendship has only grown as they have gone through life’s milestones together. “B+S=BFFDA” was developed in 5th grade and is signed in cards to this day. They'll be Best Friends Forever Definitely Always!
John Hope
Best Man
David met John in middle school at Highpointe Church of Christ in McKinney, Texas. They were both involved with the youth group. John has always enjoyed lovingly embarrassing David such as the time David asked a waitress for Italian soda as if it is a commonly served drink.
Mandy Pickle
Bridesmaid
Mandy is Becky’s sister-in-law turned best friend. Mandy came into the Pickle family fast and they are all so thankful Becky's oldest brother, Brad, didn’t give her a chance to get away. Brad and Mandy have given Becky her most favorite gift, the gift of making her an aunt. Together they love to purchase craft supplies and dream of actually using them.
Jessica Hackworth

Jessica moved to Pottsboro from Prosper, TX the summer before her 7th grade year and Becky’s 8th grade year. They met at the Pottsboro Church of Christ. They along with their families have remained close friends. A ‘now’ funny memory for them is trying to give themselves poison ivy so they could get sent home from a church camp they weren’t enjoying!
Heather Kersey

Heather welcomed Becky into the social club Chi Beta Chi at Freed-Hardeman University. Heather’s maiden name is Olive and eventually as roommates during Heather’s Junior year and Becky’s Sophomore year they colored pictures of a ‘pickle’ and an ‘olive’ for their dorm room door.
Hannah Hillis

Hannah and Becky met during Freshman orientation at FHU. Both love the beach and spent a summer together in Panama City Beach, FL to complete internships after their Junior year. Even after college they have flown to meet each other at the beach!
Erin Young

Becky was introduced to Erin by their mutual friend, Heather. They were a year older in college, but lived on the same floor in the Bradfield Dormitory at FHU. They bonded over a love of Disney movies, 90s sitcoms, and interior design.
Rachel Hughes

Rachel’s parents live in Henderson, TN where FHU is located. Rachel and her sweet family would invite Becky over for home cooked meals and family fun since she was so far from home. Even years later the tradition continues at both girl’s homes.
Kimber Loktu

Becky met Kimber on a weekend retreat with the XBX social club. Both can be introverted at times and bonded one night as they turned in early. Though they have not always lived near each other they have remained very close through phone calls and visits.
Levi Edwards
Groomsman
David got to know Levi through the Highpointe Church of Christ youth group. They enjoyed playing Halo and foosball together in the youth room. They’ve stayed close over the years and even worked out together... Levi more so than David.
Andy Stegall
Groomsman
David and Andy went to the same high school and were in the same grade even having some classes together. As partners in Physics they sank together in a cardboard boat per the assignment. They were also both part of the Highpointe Church of Christ youth group.
Erick Villarreal
Groomsman
Erick works with David in the Actuarial Department at the Globe Life Insurance company. They currently sit across the aisle from each other and have developed a friendship. David continues to mentor Erick both professionally and socially even though Erick claims to be the leader of the Actuarial group.
Bailey Pickle

Bailey Anne Pickle made Becky an aunt, her most favorite title so far. They share the same middle name and are the only ones in the Pickle family with freckles. Becky passed on her love of cats and crafts to both of her nieces! A couple of Bailey's favorite things are chocolate and the color pink.
Lauren Pickle
Flower Girl
Lauren Olivia Pickle is Becky's 2nd and youngest niece. She and Becky share a love of the color purple, Cinderella, cats, strawberry cake, and David Hansen. Lauren would marry David herself if he wasn't already taken!
Rylee Belle Burkhalter

Rylee Belle Burkhalter is the daughter of the Matron of Honor, Susie Burkhalter. She is also considered an honorary niece to the bride! Rylee helped pick out the venue for Becky's wedding and will be a beautiful flower girl!
Caty Hackworth

Catherine Jane Hackworth is the daughter of bridesmaid Jessica Hackworth. She is an honorary niece to the bride and also shares the bride's love of cats. She recently adopted a calico kitten that resembles Becky's first cat, Muffin. Caty was so excited to introduce her cat, Skittles, to Becky!
Jake Burkhalter
Ring Bearer
Jake Perry Burkhalter is the son of the Matron of Honor, Susie Burkhalter. Jake is Becky's first honorary nephew. He can be ornery at times, but is super sweet with dimples and blue eyes sure to melt your heart. Jake will be the ring bearer sporting a Sheriff's badge because... why not?
Tim Medley
Officiant
Tim Medley is a friend to the bride and a brother-in-law to the Matron of Honor. Tim married Susie's oldest sister, Marilyn, in 2002. Growing up (and even now!) Becky spent a lot of time with Susie's family and got to know Tim pretty well. He has a great sense of humor, a big heart, and most importantly a love for God he shares with anyone he meets. Tim works as a Youth Minister with the First Baptist Church in Childress, Texas.
Lexi Danner

Becky first met Lexi when she came in to paint at Pickles & Pottery with her family. Becky was looking to add to the P&P team and hired Lexi. She worked with Becky for 3+ years and became a close friend along the way. Lexi is now a 2nd grade teacher and a certified event planner. She's also married to the awesome wedding photographer, Tyler Danner of TD Photography!
Katie Hensarling

Katie began working at Pickles & Pottery the day before the grand opening. At the time her son, Isaac, was 2 years old so it was clear from the start she could manage a busy, energetic environment! Katie is now in her 3rd year as a 3rd grade teacher and still a close friend to Becky. They have taught Bible class together and see each other every Sunday at church services.
