We have not rented biked from here yet but we have enjoyed biking in St. Michaels and recommend this activity.  St. Michaels is flat and there's a 2 mile "Rails to Trails" path that runs parallel to the main strip.

TriCycle and Run - Bike Rentals

All of St. Michaels is very walkable.  Be sure to take a stroll around town and check out some of the cute shops on the main drag.
