Please arrive to the venue prior to 4pm. We will start the ceremony at that time and anyone who arrives after will not be seated and will need to observe from a different location.
We will not be providing private transportation to the venue. There is a local shuttle that has multiple stops in town and takes you directly to the hotel. The website with locations and times can be found here: https://roamtransit.com/. If staying at a hotel in Banff, many offer free passes so make sure to ask your front desk. One way rides are $2 CAD and can be purchased on the Token Transit App or at pay stations in town. Banff does not have Lyft or Uber but they do have local taxis. You may pre-reserve transportation with the taxi company (Banfftransportation.com) or call when required (1 403 762 0000). There are various other private car companies as well if you are staying out of reach of the public transportation areas.
Yes, parking is available at the Fairmont for $35 CAD/day (self-park) and $49 CAD/day (valet).
Unfortunately, due to the capacity of our location the little ones are not invited to the ceremony or reception if they were not included in your invitation or if we reached out personally.
For the ceremony and reception we suggest cocktail attire or semi-formal. Please avoid jeans, white, and flannel at these events. The weather at the end of May could have a bite so make sure to bring a jacket or shawl for the ceremony since it will be outdoors on the terrace. For the welcome party, come as you are! We understand people will be bopping around town to enjoy Banff to the fullest.
If you are staying in Canmore and want to visit Banff during the day there are multiple free parking lots that can be utilized (https://banff.ca/93/Parking) along with paid parking. Roam also has routes from Canmore to Banff (Route 3 which is $6 CAD one way). This can be taken to the Banff High School Transit Hub where you will transfer to Route 2 if you are going to the Fairmont Banff Springs. The LAST bus to Canmore is 11:18PM from the High School Transit Hub.
If you are driving - yes. You will need to have a day pass for every day you reside or drive into Banff. A group pass rate is available for 2-7 people meaning the more people you carpool with the more you save! This pass can be purchased online or in-person at the park entrance. The website is https://www.banfflakelouise.com/park-pass-purchase. This pass provides entry to Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, Yoho, Mount Revelstoke, Glacier, Waterton Lakes and Elk Island national parks.
Yes! We will have food stations available for those who come hungry.
