Del Bajio International Airport is about a 1.5 hour drive from San Miguel de Allende and is the most common airport to fly into. It is located in Silao, which is very close to the city of Leon. Mexico City is about a 3.5 hour drive from San Miguel De Allende. For some, flying into this larger airport may be more economical. We also suggest flying into this airport if you would like to visit Mexico City prior to arriving to San Miguel de Allende for the wedding! Private transfers can also be arranged from Mexico City international airport to San Miguel de Allende.

This airport is about 1 hour 15 minutes away from San Miguel de Allende.

If you plan on renting a car, keep in mind that the streets of San Miguel de Allende are very narrow and parking can be a hassle. The center of the city is very walkable and taxi drivers are available if needed.
