A former monastery, now a Chianti winery and producer of Olive Oil.   Tastings, restaurant, cooking classes and a great garden.  45 minutes from Villa Cini.

Badia a Coltibuono Winery

Visit this 900 year old oldest Italian wine estate and castle, taste some Chianti and have some wonderful Italian food.  40 minutes from Villa Cini

Day trip to Cinque Terre - Five gorgeous towns on the Italian riviera connected by an easy walking trail.  Trains run all day from Montevarchi.  Driving is also an option.

Pisa is aprox 1:45 to 2 hours by train or car from Montevarche.  You can now reserve entrance to the Leaning Tower and the cathedral ahead of time online.

Medieval Towers were the thing back in the day for this town!  Great sightseeing here.  1.5 hour drive, 2.5 hour train from Montevarche.

San Gimignano

Must visit of Tuscany.  45 minute drive from Villa Cini or 1 hour bus ride from Bucine to this midevil town complete with a grat Duomo!

There are many other options as well.  This one offers road biking and mountain biking options.
