Two shuttles will be waiting to take all guests to the venue from the corner where the InterContinental Hotel meets Allees de Tourny. The shuttles will leave promptly at 2:15pm, so please allow plenty of time to reach the pick-up location. We suggest arriving in Bordeaux on Friday (if not before!), as the welcome festivities begin that evening. The dress code for the day of the wedding is formal. For gentlemen, we recommend wearing a tuxedo or a dark suit paired with a tie. Ladies may choose to wear a formal, long, or tea-length dress. We want everyone to enjoy the celebration in style! For the Welcome Event on Friday evening, dress to impress but keep it comfortable – think anywhere from cocktail attire to smart casual. We know you’ll be tight on luggage space, so prioritize what works for you. The Sunday Brunch will be casual attire. Bordeaux has a smaller airport compared to the larger European hubs. If you are flying from the US, check out connections through: London (LGW), Paris (CDG or ORY), Madrid (MAD), Dublin (DUB), Frankfurt (FRA), Amsterdam (AMS), Lyon (LYS), Barcelona (BCN), Lisbon (LIS), Geneva (GVA) and Rome (FCO). Not only will these destinations provide you with flight options to Bordeaux, they are great places to tag onto your trip!
We recommend selecting the "multi-city" drop down on Google Flights to get the best rates flying to Europe. Combining all of the flights when booking helps reduce the cost of the total fare.
We originally noted here that you will need to obtain a visa to travel to France, however! This has been pushed to mid-2025. No action needed!
