LeGrand and Lauren encourage you to visit their church for either the 8:45 AM or 11:00 AM service on Sunday!
Roastology
Grab a cup of coffee where Lauren & LeGrand got coffee together for the first time! LeGrand was trying hard to keep his cool, and Lauren wasn't sure if it was a date.
Maymont
Maymont is a beautiful, historic estate and park. LeGrand and Lauren like to walk around and have picnics here! We will be having our reception on Maymont's grounds at the Robins Nature Center.
Hike Belle Isle
LeGrand and Lauren like to take their family and friends on hikes around Belle Isle. You can walk the wide path around the island and climb the rocks in the river! If you park at the Belle Isle Parking Lot on Tredegar Street, the path is flatter and has no stairs. This parking lot is likely to fill-up quickly, though!
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Lauren and LeGrand love to sit outside at the VMFA! They went here every Monday morning for 5 months for weekly "check-ins."
Carytown
Take a stroll down Cary Street between 195 and Arthur Ashe Boulevard and take a look at the consignment shops, game stores, bars, and restaurants in one of Richmond's most vibrant commercial districts. Lauren's favorite restaurant is Sen Organic, and LeGrand's is Mom's Siam-- they are right across the street from each other!
Hotel Greene
Hotel Greene is an indoor minigolf course (not a hotel)! LeGrand and Lauren went here for a different and fun date night, and LeGrand won by 3 strokes. :)
Pocahontas State Park
Interested in something longer and OK with driving a little further? LeGrand proposed to Lauren at Pocahontas when she was on a hike around Bear Lake with her friend.
