Things To Do

There's so much to do and eat on Oahu! The first six are our recommendations for the North Shore area. The rest are grouped by category.

Sharks Cove

Pupukea, HI 96712

Don't let the name scare you! We love snorkeling here as it is less crowded than Hanauma Bay and its free! The beach is surrounded by reef making the water extra calm and easy to swim in, or you can snorkel to the right side, outside of the tidepool area.

Waimea Bay

61-31 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712

...or really any beach on the North Shore!

Polynesian Cultural Center

55-370 Kamehameha Highway, Laie, HI 96762
, (800) 367-7060

Looking for a full day of Polynesian culture? Here you can learn and experience different cultures of Polynesia and end the evening with a luau and a show!

Dole Plantation

64-1550 Kamehameha Hwy, Wahiawa, HI 96786

Dole whip pineapple soft serve. Need I say more? Be prepared, a lot of overpriced stuff here.

Romy's Kahuku Prawns Shrimp Hut

56781 Kamehameha Highway, Kahuku, HI 96731
, (808) 232-2202

Giovanni's might be the most famous, but Romy's tastes DA BEST! Butter garlic scampi is the way to go! Be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes, no matter the length of the line.

Ted's Bakery

59-024 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712

Pies! Pies! Pies! Chocolate Haupia (coconut jello) Cream Pie is a crowd favorite!
