Aulani's KA WA'A Luau

5:00 pm

Join us for a Luau at Aulani! All ages are welcome! We will meet at 5:00pm to make sure we get in with good seats. Highlights include: Pre-show activities, including traditional arts such as kapa printing, flower arranging, temporary kakau tattoos and paʻi ai taro pounding. Lū‘au introduction and oli (chant) welcome. Buffet dining, including a carving station with suckling pig and prime rib, fresh local seafood, and authentic island fare, plus family-friendly offerings, kids' selections and a decadent dessert bar. Lū‘au performance—an enchanting, often breathtaking production that brings the legends and lore of ancient Hawai'i to life. General Admission – $139 Adults/$89 Keiki (ages 3 through 9). There is no charge for keiki under 3. (Don’t buy tickets on your own, we will buy as a group to make sure we all sit together) **most luaus cost about this much, the only other luau I would suggest is Polynesian Cultural Center.

Kuliouou Ridge Hike

Join us in hiking one of our favorite hikes on Oahu! The trail goes up Kuliouou Ridge where the landscape changes more beautifully as you go up! 4 miles round trip, out and back, 1600 ft gain. Bring water, sunscreen, insect repellant, shoes you don't mind getting muddy, snacks and camera. **carpool is suggested as there isn't a lot of street parking available** **kids are welcome! it's a pretty steep hike, but it's safe. No narrow cliffs or ridges. We can reward ourselves with a yummy lunch at Teddy's Bigger Burgers or Zippy's afterwards, and maybe even shave ice!

Attire: Island Formal. The grass may be soft, so you may want to rethink stilettos! Please bring comfy sandals to dance in!

Please park at Waimea Valley, 59-864 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712. There will be a section in the parking lot dedicated for our wedding, and a shuttle will take you to the venue and bring you back. Please take the shuttle at 3pm (or a little earlier), Ceremony will start at 3:30pm. If you are taking Uber, you can get dropped off at either Waimea Valley or Sunset Ranch. **Because our reception has to end at 9pm, we ask that everyone stay to the end so we can enjoy the time together celebrating rather than saying good-byes. Shuttle will run until 10pm.

Beach Day

11:00 am

Join us for a relaxing beach day after our wedding at Malaekahana Beach! We have a whole grass area on the side of the campground called Castle Beach reserved right on the beach front. The campground has paddle boards, kayaks, surfboards and bodyboards available for rent (no advance rental necessary). We will BBQ for lunch!
