SJD

San Jose Del Cabo Airport (SJD) is easily accessible from most major airports. Given that March is a popular time in Cabo, we highly recommend booking as early as possible to get the best pricing (or at least setting an alert).

Airport Transfers

We recommend Impala Ground Services for airport transfers. They offer non-stop private or shared rides and the pricing is as follows: - Up to 5 passenger vehicle: $80 USD One Way (5 pieces of luggage) - Up to 10 passenger vehicle: $85 USD One Way (12 pieces of luggage) *Price is per vehicle, not per person. To book your reservation: 1. Use the "view" below 2. Click "Sign in" 3. Click: “Guest List” 4. Click "Add Your Information" 5. Add your personal information, including flight information 6. Click: “Submit” If for any reason you need assistance during the reservation process, please feel free to contact them via chat (bottom left of the page) or by email at info@impalacabo.com. *Note: Ubers are not permitted to pick you up at the airport and are generally not available around San Jose Del Cabo.

Getting out of the airport

If you are using our recommended airport transfer vendor (above), your driver will be at the airport waiting for you. You'll want to ignore everyone on the way out offering you a ride, a time share, etc. If you are renting a car you will see the rental stalls just past baggage claim. They will direct you to the shuttles. *Note: Ubers are not permitted to pick you up at the airport and are generally not available around San Jose Del Cabo.

Rental Cars

If you are renting a car (nice to have if you plan to explore the other cities around San Jose but definitely not a requirement), we recommend doing so in advance as it's going to be a busy week in Los Cabos. After collecting your luggage you'll see the rental car check in booths before the exit. They'll point you towards the shuttle which will bring you to your designated rental company. Speaking from experience, make sure your car has gas before you leave :)

Driving In Cabo

Remember to have some cash on you for tolls just incase between SJD and CSL. Most take USD and credit cards but it's good to be prepared with pesos just in case. More importantly, if you're driving between these cities please be mindful of the speed "bumps" (speed mountains would be a more appropriate name) — they are BRUTAL if you go over them too fast and can wreck your car.
