Sucre Sale
As close to being in a traditional, casual French bistro as it gets here in the States! This is a staple of ours. We recommend: (French) onion soup, mussels, blackened barramundi and you MUST get a glass of kir (Laura's all time fav)
Tablao - Wine bar and restaurant
We love a good tapas restaurant! We recommend getting their white sangria, octopus tapas, and paella!
Hoodoo Brown BBQ
It definitely competes with Texas BBQ - bold statement I know, but I said it. Go see for yourself. Note: they are constantly selling out of stuff because everything is so delicious so call beforehand and see what they are out of first.
Wooster Hollow Cafe
The coziest and casual but absolutely delicious breakfast spot!! We love their menu as much as we love the local art on the walls that changes each time we go.
Bobo's Cafe
When you want to grab a super quick but super delicious bite to eat! You're ordering The Number One - Bacon, Egg, Cheese, Hash Brown, Avocado, and Creamy Sriracha on a Croissant. Bye.
Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe
Super adorable, super wholesome shop with a whole room of candy as well as housemade chocolates & ice cream. They also sell small gifts. It is definitely worth stopping by and browsing.
Mountain Lakes Park
Mountain Lakes Park Trail is a 3.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail OR you could do the less than 30 minute straight walk with a very slight incline to Lookout Point (search that in google maps once you get to the park) which we HIGHLY recommend. The colors can't be beat that weekend - in fact the photo above is our personal picture from October 11th of last year. You can always ask visitors for help or the information office.
Apple Picking
There are two opposing orchards across from each other so we'll let you decide which to visit ;) Note: Tickets sell out fast so plan ahead!!! Tickets go on sale 10 days before each picking weekend.
