What is the wedding dress code?

Our wedding is Black-Tie Optional. Tuxes and gowns are preferred—suits and cocktail dresses are appreciated.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The average temperature in Central Florida during April typically ranges from a high of 86°F to a low of 63°F. Some would describe it as pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze. The average April day has a 21% chance of rain.

Will the wedding be outdoors?
Answer
Pending good weather, the ceremony will be held at Sea Breeze Point, an outdoor covered pavilion at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. The reception will take place indoors at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club. Prepare to walk a short distance between the two locations.

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

If I'm Driving, Where Can I Park?
Answer
Whether you're a Flordia local and driving yourself, or you're renting a car for your visit, there will be parking available for you at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. Please note it may take you upwards of 20 minutes to get from your parked car in the Boardwalk parking lot to the ceremony location Sea Breeze Point.

What is the Disney Skyliner?
Answer
Free to everyone, travel around the Disney resort in style on this aerial gondola. Each hotel in our room block is conveniently located along the Skyliner's route to make car-free travel possible during your stay. The Skyliner is fully handicap accessible.

When should I book my hotel by?
Answer
If you choose to stay in our room block, we recommend booking your hotel ASAP. Rooms in our block are discounted, but available on a first-come, first-served basis—and with Disney, we can't guarantee we'll be able to add rooms onto the block at the discounted rate as we get closer to the wedding. Please complete your booking by the latest on Wednesday, February 7th.

Do I Get A Discount Booking Through Your Room Block?

Yes! The rates listed on our "Travel" page are exclusively discounted for our wedding guests. Be sure to use the website we provided on that page to complete your booking and receive the discounted rate. Now, if you want to stay at a Disney hotel that isn't on our room block, or you're able to book a Disney hotel with an even better discount (for example Military Discount), would you kindly call (407) 827-6799 after booking and connect your reservation to the "Beattie & Lartonoix" Wedding block?

Can I stay at a Disney hotel longer than the days in your room block?

Absolutely! Want to turn our wedding destination into your next family vacation? Disney will allow our wedding guests to book any additional nights between March 31st and April 14th at our discounted room rate. We understand that booking can be complicated—if you have questions about booking additional nights on our discounted room block, we recommend reaching out to the Disney Wedding Room Block Team at (407) 827-6799.
