Larry and I frequent this bar a lot. Voldstead is a speakeasy with craft cocktails. On Sunday night, they have swing dancing. One day we went to this bar with Larry's Cousin Camille, on a Tuesday night. Larry said, "Patti, you can't keep up with Trini drinking". Boy, was he right. Anyway, the drinks are so good here, you won't regret it.
This is close to the hotel. If you like pizza, don't forget to order pizza from Vpizza. The servers can take your pizza order from the bar. Another place that has great craft cocktails. I recommend the painkiller. It's garnished with an orchid and tastes great. Make sure not to have an empty stomache.
This tree is unique to Jacksonville and has been here since 1821. There are a lot of salvage efforts to keep this tree alive. If you happen to go to voldstead, take the time to stop by this tree. The tree is really huge. Also, we debated having our wedding in this location
Great brunch, mid day drinks and coffee selections. Look out for the guy who sings opera on the piano!!!!!
This is Chloe and Patti's favorite place to go for coffee/tea and pastries. This is a local coffee shop to Jacksonville, FL and the closest one to the beach.
The music on a Saturday night is amazing. Sometimes you'll hear Michael Jackson, 80s, 90s and today's music. There is a rooftop bar with pool tables as well as a late night food served.
