Larry and I met in 2011 at Suite (a nightclub). He was taking photos for Suite and Patti was going out for Wednesday night dancing. We became friends but life was too dramatic for both of us, for a relationship. Timing is everything when you’re adulting. We reconnected in 2017-2018 and went through an awkward phase of questioning whether or not we were friends going on dates or on "dates" (dating in the 21st century is awkward). We had conversations that include dictionary definitions of what it means to go on a date. Apparently, Webster's advises two people going on a date implies only one person has a romantic interest. Long conversations on the phone turned into discussions about what we wanted in our love life. Friendship turned into ever lasting love. Larry jokes around that he is probably one of the few guys that made it from "friend zone to end zone". I always thought that was funny. In February 25,2018, Larry popped the question. Now, we can honestly say we are marrying our best friend. Through good times and bad, we have always supported each other and are really excited to share our love (and laughter) with our friends and family.
