Question

What is winter like in Northwest Montana in March?

Answer

Good ole Montana in March, there will be a 50/50 chance to see if it will be sunny or dumping snow. Whatever the weather conditions, we will ski and party on! Winters in the Flathead Valley are actually mild (it is not -40 degrees allll the time), however, come prepared for the cold. In March snow should still be on the ground so bring good shoes and bring warm jackets. The ski resort will have a lodge where those who are not so keen on the cold can stay warm. Be warned, our ceremony will be held outside, given it is not a white out blizzard.

Question

What do I wear to your ski wedding?

Answer

Since this is a ski wedding we do not expect you to dress in your finery. The ceremony will be outside (unless the weather is horrendous) so if be prepared for potential cold! Please come in what makes you feel comfortable and warm! However, we will be shooting for an 80/90s retro ski look so think ski onesies, bold colors, and fast shades!

Question

What if I don't ski or snowboard?

Answer

No problem, then you get to be a snow bunny! Blacktail has a lodge you can hang out in with a full bar and we will be bringing board games and yard games and there will be options to sled. You will be allowed to ride the lift as a pedestrian and hang at the bar at the bottom of the lift with fire pits. What is fun about Blacktail is that the parking lot is actually the summit of the mountain, so you won't miss out on the views. We should also have a bus returning earlier to Whitefish if you are done being a snow bunny.

Question

Do I have to buy a $200 lift ticket to ski?

Answer

Nope! We've got you covered!
