Japanese Tea Garden
The Japanese Tea Garden is one of many attractions in Golden Gate Park. Spend your afternoon at the park and see the garden, the conservatory of flowers, and the Legion of Honor museum.
Golden Gate Bay Cruise
Definitely the best way to tourist around! Take a ferry around the bay and enjoy the views.
Lake Merritt
Lake Merritt is one of the most picturesque places in Oakland. We like to take snacks and sit by the west side of the lake, close to Fairyland (if you are visiting with kids, you can also go to Fairyland!). Snow Park is also close by and has pretty views of the lake.
Children's Fairyland
Visit fairyland if you are in town with your kids. We'll be pretty jealous; the truth is we've always wanted to go, but childless adults are not allowed!
