FAQs

We've tried to answer most questions here, but please feel free to reach out to us if anything else comes up. We love all of you and are so excited to see you and celebrate together!
Question

Can I bring my kids with me?

Answer

Of course! Children of all ages are welcome. We'll have a space for children set up with kid-friendly snacks and some movies in case they get bored! Please include their names in your RSVPs.

Question

Is there parking near the venue?

Answer

Yes! The closest parking garage is the 5th & Mission garage. It is a five minute walk from the venue. See the rates here: http://www.fifthandmission.com/home.htm Keep in mind that there is no security in the nearby parking garages. Remember to remove all valuables (or anything that looks like valuables) from your car before leaving!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both; the ceremony will be indoors. The reception dinner will be outdoors, but we'll bring the music & dancing inside after sunset. There will be multiple rooms available for lounging, snacking, and dancing.

Question

Should I bring a jacket?

Answer

Yes, please. We are in San Francisco - not LA! It's always a little chilly - expect the weather to be in the 60s. The courtyard is enclosed, so there shouldn't be much wind chill. We'll have heaters available, and we can always bring the party indoors if it gets too cold. There will be a self serve coat room if you want to bring a heavier coat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding venue is formal and we'll be all dressed up. We'd love for you to get dressed up with us, but please prioritize your comfort and convenience first. Above all else, we want everyone to have a great time!

Question

What is the best way to get around the city?

Answer

The Bay Area has a subway system (BART) that is really easy to use; it's generally the quickest way to get around. You can buy a ticket at the station and follow the signs for the train you need. Bart goes to and from the San Francisco and Oakland airports, as well as all of the most interesting spots in both cities.
