Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que
One of KC's most popular BBQ joints. Nothing fancy about it - it's part of a working gas station but it will not disappoint. If you're staying through the weekend they are closed on Sundays.
Boulevard Brewing Company
KC's biggest local brewery. They do tours and have a really fun beer hall with games and apps.
Country Club Plaza
The Plaza is the oldest outdoor shopping center in the US. The architecture is modeled off of Seville, Spain. Take a stroll and window shop and grab a cocktail and pig wings on the patio of Gram & Dunn or have a beer on the rooftop at O'Dowds or stop into Coopers Hawk for a wine tasting.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
We got engaged on the beautiful lawn of the Nelson Atkins! Even if you just walk around the grounds and check out the giant shuttlecocks, it's worth the 10 minute drive from downtown. Beautiful building, landscape and art all around.
National WWI Museum and Memorial
Best view of the KC skyline. Sunsets from there are incredible. Great museum too:)
Cigar Box
Grab late night drinks at this singalong dive bar. Our buddy, Al who sings Frank Sinatra among other artists won't disappoint.

Grab Saturday or Sunday brunch and listen to amazing Jazz musicians play in this historic location.
