We are getting married at El Presidio Chapel and will walk to El Paseo Restaurant for the reception. The walk is about 5 minutes.
Fiesta Cocktail Attire Inspired by Santa Barbara’s rich Spanish heritage, we encourage guests to embrace bold colors, ruffles, floral patterns, and lively prints that capture the festive spirit of Hispanic culture. Gentlemen, a colorful shirt or patterned tie is a great way to complement the theme. No jeans, please! Dress to impress, and let your look reflect the joy and vibrance of the celebration! (see the inspiration picture above)
We kindly request that guests do not wear white, cream, or ivory. (Some throughout the pattern is okay!) Also, please do not wear denim jeans. Red and black are acceptable colors to wear!
Uber is recommended, and there are several public parking lots near the venue if you choose to drive. We are not providing shuttles or transportation. Downtown Santa Barbara is very walkable!
We strongly suggest using Uber or Lyft, as parking can be tight during a busy holiday weekend in SB. Welcome Party - Shalhoobs Street parking or one of the public parking lots nearby. Garden Street Lot or City of Santa Barbara Downtown Parking Lot #13 (Depot Lot) Wedding - El Presidio & El Paseo: Street parking or one of the public parking lots nearby. City Lot #9 or the parking lot adjacent to El Presidio at 117 E Canon Perdido St.
The ceremony is inside the historical chapel. The reception is in a restaurant with a retractable roof. The roof is typically open in May, but will be closed if rain is anticipated.
Although we would love to offer a plus one to all our guests, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
Our wedding is an adult-only event. However, kids will be allowed to attend other events during the weekend. We appreciate you traveling with your family for our wedding and hope you all enjoy the weekend in this beautiful town we call home!
We are still finalizing details for the other events. Below is a quick overview of what to expect. Friday: Welcome Party - kids allowed Saturday: Rehearsal Dinner - invite only Sunday: The Big Day!
