If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Answer

We love kids, we really do! However, we ask that our day be an adults only celebration.

How far is the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

The Ivanhoe Club is about 16 miles (25-30 minutes) from St. Patrick Church.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking will be available at both the ceremony and reception locations. You may park yourself at the ceremony, located at St. Patrick Church in Wadsworth, IL. Valet parking will be available at the reception, located at the Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein, IL.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes - please refer to the Travel section for our hotel recommendation and to reserve a room as part of our room block.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors, with AC. Guests will have the option to go to an outdoor patio area for cocktail hour.

Are there any transportation or shuttle services?

Answer

There will be no special transportation or shuttle services provided. We recommend utilizing a rideshare service, or carpooling with a safe driver. Parking will be available at both St. Patrick Church and The Ivanhoe Club.
