What is the dress code?

Semi Formal. Please no jeans!

What time is the Wedding?

Answer

The time of the wedding is 4:30

Is this an event suited for children?

Answer

The wedding is set to be at a winery where there will be consumption of beer and wine. If this does not align with your values, then it is best to leave the kids at home.

Will the Ceremony/Reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be in a pavilion space where it is not totally enclosed. The dinner part of the reception will be indoors. For the dancing portion of the reception, we will move back into the pavilion space.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In November in Abilene, it is unpredictable. We have looked at the weather around that time of year and the high will be in the upper 60s and the low will be in the upper 40s.

Where can I park at the venue?

Answer

There is a wrap around parking lot in front and side of the venue as well as across the street. It is not wise to park on the street.

What kind of food will be provided at the reception?

Answer

For the cocktail hour there will be a charcuterie spread. For the dinner, there will be two options of King Ranch Chicken and Lasagna. This will be served with a garden salad and bread.

What does the Wedding-Day timeline look like?

Answer

Depending on Daylight Savings the ceremony will start at 4:30/5:30. It will be no more than 30 minutes. There will be a cocktail hour so that there will be time for the wedding party and family to finish up pictures. Between 45 minutes- 1 hour then will be dinner. After dinner has been had by all then the dancing portion will begin as well as other reception festivities. The reception should be over by 10 P.M.

15-20 minutes before it starts.
