We've booked our venue, photographer, florist, DJ, and we have a wedding theme, attire, and menu! We've also created a master itinerary with ALL the details, so you'll know what we're up to - from the day before the wedding, all the way to Sunday! We can't believe it's almost here!!! ♡
West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW) in Charleston, West Virginia. Be sure to check out the "Travel" page on this website for more information.
Since we have a small number of guests, we decided not to book any blocks of rooms. Staying in Fayetteville would be ideal, but you can also stay in Beckley as a backup if you're having trouble finding Fayetteville lodging. Be sure to ask your host about road conditions if you're not using a hotel. We DO NOT recommend the Travelodge, or the Howard Johnson by Wyndham, in Beckley. Check out the "Travel" page on this website for a simplified map of the area and more info.
In general: West Virginia is usually humid and heating up (in the 70s, 80s, or possibly 90s) this time of year, sometimes with rain and/or humidity - be sure to bring your cool, comfy clothes! Hiking: The trails can get muddy sometimes, so be sure to bring tennis-shoes that you don't care to get dirty. White Water Rafting: All rafters have been sent an info sheet on what to bring and what to wear for our adventure! Wedding Day Attire: Garden Party Formal. Our wedding theme is "Garden Party," so you can wear florals, pastels, spring tones, and light colors/fabrics, if you like! The ceremony will be held outside in a grassy area, and the rest of the wedding will take place indoors. Please note - these wedding attire ideas are just fun suggestions, not requirements - you can wear whatever you're comfortable in!
We've been living together for quite some time, so we already own all the things a newlywed couple could want - kitchen gadgets, furniture, the works! And your love and support is the best gift of all time. If you do insist on getting us a little something-something, you can check out our "Registry" page on this website to contribute to our honeymoon experiences ♡
Unfortunately there aren't any shuttle services available in our area - so be sure to carpool with a designated driver on the wedding day! We're so sorry for the inconvenience - if you end up drinking too much and can't drive yourself home, we'll be sure to get you a ride! :)
Kyle's been around the whole world, but Sophia has never been out of the U.S./Mexico before - so there's a lot of pressure to pick the perfect place! We're waiting until after the wedding to plan and take our honeymoon, so that Kyle can take enough time off work, and we can build up our honeymoon fund. We are SO EXCITED to take our first vacation abroad together! ♡
